About Us In the summer of 1979, Michael and Lorali Laymon decided to try their hand at owning their own moulding store. They came to Orange County and settled on opening shop in Santa Ana. November of that same year, World of Moulding opened its doors for business. Michael set goals for himself and their new business that people told him were out of reach, by the end of that first year, those same people congratulated him for surpassing his goals five times over. In the years that followed the World of Moulding continued to grow and exceed everyone's expectations. Today I have the honor of running the business my parents began over 26 years ago. Back then, having a knowledgeable, friendly sales staff and offering products of only the highest quality was of utmost importance to my father. His philosophy continues today. Building off the goals of my parents and working closely with them, as well as with the managers and employees, we are setting new goals for the World of Moulding. This year we are focusing our attention on developing a showroom that is easy to use, gives homeowners and contractors ideas for decorating, and has a friendly, welcoming feel. We are also focusing on the growth of the World of Moulding, such as trying to make room to increase our supply of in-stock items we currently provide along with testing new lines of product. We are coming up with new ideas daily; our main goals will not change, but our smaller ones are constantly being altered, added to, and sometimes discarded if someone comes up with better ideas. We do value the opinions of our customers and appreciate it when a patron of the World of Moulding gives us ideas to make it better for them. Prepayment by check or credit card. Minimum order: $5.00 net. Clients agree to pay all charges signed for on a credit card authorization form unless paying by check. By signing the World of Moulding authorization form, the signer agrees that they are the authorized cardholder and are responsible for all charges incurred. If the World of Moulding receives a returned check, the person and their account will be held liable for a $25.00 service charge or 10 times the amount of the check, whichever is the highest amount.The customer agrees not to hold the World of Moulding accountable for delivery delays due to uncontrollable circumstances. All factory shipments and/or delivery dates are the best estimates, based on information given to the World of Moulding by their suppliers. The World of Moulding will not accept liability for any consequential or special damages arising from any delay in delivery.The World of Moulding aims for a 100% on time delivery, with the philosophy of developing and keeping a repeat business clientele through the source of the internet.

The World of Moulding sells wood products. Due to the nature and characteristics of any wood product, the World of Moulding can not be liable for any perceived defect or imperfections in the natural products that it sells, nor can the World of Moulding accept any responsibility in the growth, harvesting, or milling of the trees that most of the product line comes from. The World of Moulding can assure every customer that the very same type or grade of products is used for display purposes in their showroom, which has been an industry showcase for over 25 years.
If any product falls below industry standards, the World of Moulding will exchange, or replace the product for the customer.
The World of Moulding will make available to the purchaser, any transfer of warranties or guaranties, but specifically makes no implied warranty or guaranty other than that of the manufacturer's.

With the subsistence of an online order, and/or your signature on our order acknowledgement as a conditional acceptance, by the World of Moulding, of your offer to obtain goods or services, along with your acceptance of the World of Moulding's terms and conditions. Your receipt, by signing for, and retention of goods, shall constitute acceptance of goods and release World of Moulding from fulfilling any further obligation, unless otherwise implied in writing by an authorized representative of the World of Moulding.

If you have any problems with your order, please contact customer service at (714) 556-7773 within 24 hours of receipt. Have your order number ready. If a return is necessary, our customer service department will issue a Returned Material Authorization or an RMA, and provide a shipping address. The World of Moulding does not accept unauthorized returns. If a return is authorized, and an RMA number is issued, a restocking and order processing fee will be assessed in the amount of 25% of the total of the order or any portion thereof that is returned in good saleable condition. Material that is cut, painted, stained, wet, or damaged in any way, will not be credited. Any return without an RMA will not be credited, regardless of condition.

To fill an order, the World of Moulding reserves the right to ship and subsequently bill your charge card or account for up to 10% over the desired quantity, allowing said order to be shipped as "completed". The World of Moulding always pulls as close to the suggested order as stock will permit. If specified lengths are required, the World of Moulding will fill the order and add a 25% specified length charge (an industry standard).

Orders may be changed up until the time of shipment. If a request for a change order is made after the product has been shipped, then it is the responsibility of the customer to correct the order and pay for any shipping charges to send the material to be changed back to the World of Moulding.

Special orders require a full payment to initiate. Special order merchandise is non-returnable and non-refundable. Once a special order is placed, and paid for, you have 24 hours to change or cancel the order and receive a refund. To verify your order cancellation, you will be given an order cancellation number from customer service, verifying that your order was cancelled. If you have not received an order cancellation number from customer service, then your order is still in process and a refund will not be issued. Cancellations of special orders will not be allowed after the 24 hour time period and you will be responsible for any of the charged you have authorized.
